To overcome the self-generated bureaucratic sluggishness of their companies, top managers need to change their concept of structure, decision and effectiveness and engage in a process of organizational transformation. Successful processes link cognitive/intellectual and emotional "discovery" at individual level with collective "learning by doing" to achieve lasting "cultural" change
