Descriptions of successful practice give students as well as potential users a clear picture of what OR is about and how OR projects are conducted. Interviews with successful OR practitioners and their clients are included, complementing the case descriptions. Application areas studied include transport and logistics, product and process design, maintenance and financial services, as well as healthcare and environmental decision making
