Managers have identified the lack of an adequate manufacturing strategy as one of the main barriers to the effective management of their international manufacturing operations. How to set up and manage an effective and efficient network of plants is a key issue here. In this we will give an overview of what we believe are key issues in the manufacturing strategy of a company with operations in several countries
